macD is really smart.

they added mega mac and mega spicy to the permanent menu
but
as i recall when they first introduced mcspicy
it was "mcspicy double"
i.e. the original already had two patties
i.e. they secretly took out one patty, and raised the price!

damn sneaky!!

and their new marketing gimmick is damn addictive still! shucks
