common tests are over and done with and all j2s are left with the last stretch to go. this CT feels better than the previous one (at least for MC and like.. fm 'cos i failed it the other time round) but i guess it's still some time before we'll know. it's the first time i've ever managed to complete an mc paper. hahaha and chem.. i wished i'd skipped the calculation questions in front. spent so much time studying food chem and it's damn stupid to not have enough time to even attempt it. fm was ok (I CAN DO COMPLEX! haha. ok one question at least) but i think i've a serious problem with time management. couldn't complete this paper too. and physics is bullshit, as usual. hahaha my mcq's gonna like get lowest in class AGAIN. don't understand why they have to make the mcq two marks each. it's like making us bleed over the same thing twice. hey i'm trying to practice some gp here. MCS- i've never been traumatised this much by an exam before. didn't even do enough marks to pass the damn paper. oh mann. it's like the first time i feel so lost doing a math paper. lol. i'm shocked, but at least it's over. and now i'm able to enjoy a looooong break. YAY i love post exam activities!

was unable to blog about aqua outing cos i was busy mugging. it was.. good. at least for the chalet part. HEYYY I MANAGED TO SET UP (ok. almost) A FIRE!! haha. OVERNIGHT MAHJONG (again!) is one of the best ways to find out how people behave when they get tired! hahaha most of us sing stupid stuff and talk senseless things. lol. ok or is it just me? hahaha. and funny things happened too like pig heart attack (guess who's idea..) and like zhiru's SHOCKING NEWS.

I HAVE A HAIR LOSS PROBLEMMM!! any recommendations?? besides beijing 101 cos it seems its like for OLD people!!

note to self: it's time to let go.

so i spent one week doing cip at aviva open 2006. (haha for the clueless people out there, it's a badminton event) hmm. it was a good experience!! saw quite a number of players (HOT! lol), met a few interesting people here and there.

there was the cute indian man who came all the way from india (duh! haha) to watch the tournament. he's been here for three years already but isn't coming back next year (so he says.) i think this year's organisation pissed him off quite a bit la. but hope he still comes! 'cos we (candy and I) didn't have the chance to take photo with him!! yucks la he's here everyday except the last day when i brought camera to take photo with all the interesting people. arggghh
yah there was another guy from china (not sure if he's working here or came here specially). he's damn funny la!! everyday we'll print the match schedules out and people will take. so on this particular day there were a lot of matches being played and the schedules thingy was 3 pages long. so obviously to save paper we printed on both sides. then he only saw the 1st and 3rd page and was asking us "what happens from XXXX to XXXX (time)" (in chinese of course) hahaha i was like uhh.. zai zhe li, pointing to the 2nd page. and i laughed LOL. aiyah he so cute he laughed at himself too and was like trying to explain that in his company they only print on one side.
the funniest thing was the next day he came back (the schedule was only one page), candy and I recognised him la and were like smiling at him because of what happened the day before. then he realised we were laughing at him and he said in a joking tone "xiao she me!?" HAHA. so cute! totally cheered up my whole day.

i wanted to take photo with him too!! saw him on sat when i brought my camera but i was talking to this survey-person. and i thought "never mind, there's still one more day, can take tomorrow what!" but ARGHHH he didn't come back!! so in the end i was in quite a bad mood on sunday. no indian man no chinese man. to think we were joking about giving posters to both of them (cos of the excellent entertainment they provide) and making them take photo together. sighh

and of course with this job comes an ALL ACCESS backstage pass that allows us to take a sneak peak of the indoor stadium. even the room we had to report to was classy. "support artiste room". sounds so nice la. lol. i didn't know they had so many AUTOGRAPHED posters hanging along the backstage corridors.

random thought: i want to work in sistic next time!! then can see all those big stars. and i really want to steal the posters..hahaha

and then there's the chance to meet ALL THOSE HOT GUYS and girls

candy and I were desperately finding excuses (things to photocopy) to pop by the tournament secretriat room by the longest way we can think of to meet all the people doing warm-ups and cool-downs and stuff. saw people like PETER GADE (3 times!! hahaha ok so what if i intentionally went down at times i know he'll being doing warm-ups? lol. he looks damn young for his age) - he's the champion of the tournament btw, BAO CHUNLAI (this chinese player, he's supposed to be good, PLUS PLUS PLUS. he's YOUNG.. only 23!! haha. quite shuai but super fair. shall elaborate more on him when i post photos), RONALD SUSILO and his super cool coach who drives a motorbike home lol (erm my only comment is that he's not very tall but he seems like a nice guy), then there were the few people that i don't know the names of.

oh i saw donna kellogg too (doesnt it remind you of the brand of cereal?) she's quite pretty!

i guess non-badminton fans (like myself actually, haha) must be bored by now.

had the luxury of being a tai-tai during the class chalet.
mahjong at night, mahjong at day, mahjong when busy, mahjong when free.
even had an almost personal water boy to help me get water and make instant noodles!!

anyway!! chalet in general was, well, eventful. so many things happened on both nights la

first night:
1. lizard appearing behind me while i was playing my nth game of mahjong. lol. i ran out of the room. david and guys tried to catch the disgusting thing by using the broom to sweep it off the ceiling. it ran out of the mahjong room via the kitchen steps. some other things happened (i didn't see this cos i was so scared i ran to the living room to escape! haha) and david caught it in a plastic bag. then he tied a knot and started throwing the bag around!! ARGHHH talk about gross. hahaha he tried to aim that at hongming and me (can u believe hongming is scared of lizards too?! lol!!) but both of us ran far away before he could reach us. YUCKSSS
haha in the end they let it out at the front garden. then hongming and i never walked that path again. hahaha

2. BLACKOUT AT 11.50PM.
scared the hell out of me la!! like it's so close to midnight. and the chalet's at CHANGI. oh mann. and it was so sudden. happened like maybe 20 minutes after the lizard incident. POOF. pitch dark. haha i was even scared to go into our room to get my phone to use as light. thank god for the guys that were there. i'm suddenly so thankful i'm in a class with 20 guys. hahaha.
yeah so wenyun and alex (i think) went to check the fuse box outside. BRAVE!! and hongming called the technician guy. then the freakiest thing happened!!
THE PHONE RANG.
hahaha brave(?) xueli picked it up. and rongyao said something damn stupid, i forgot. hahaha anyway it scared her and she screamed (sort of). LOL.
well anyway turns out that something was wrong with the fridge and then we had to transfer everything into the freezer. grrr. lousy.

3. LIZARDS, LIZARDS, AND MORE LIZARDS
ok so after that some of us decided to go to changi village to view the famous transvestites. wow they are SO prettyyyyy can fight with me lor hahahaha. we bought milk and ice at 7-11 and cheers. yupp then some of them went fishing and only hongming, jiaming, weijian and i were left in the chalet. (excluding xueli who was the only one ASLEEP hahaha)
SO WE PLAYED MAHJONG LA..
then someone opened the mahjong room door and we discovered that there were at least 3 more lizards outside!!! AHHHHHH
one was in the dustbin in the toilet! talk about yucks!! haha weijian still dare to use the toilet to pee. omggg i will never go to a chalet with so many lizards EVER AGAIN.

second night:
well basically it was the bbq. haha there was too much food and too few people left to eat it! thanks to all those who bangseh us and went home early. grr.
and all the guys had to go back to school for the PSC psychometric test the next day. they had to wake up at like 6 la! and we stayed up till like 1am to finish bbqing. i feel guilty!!
was being a tai-tai again at the start of the bbq. i don't know how to start fire what! haha then after the fire was up, cooking the satay was up to chunhong and chicken wings were up to hizam (aka chicken man/fisherman/bbq man) and wenyun (aka sportsman/local chicken). it was hilarious listening to wenyun and hizam teasing each other. haha and how hizam was so concerned about how his chicken wings turned out (it concerned his reputation, LOL) and he said he'll close shop at 10pm cos he wanted to watch LOST. hahahaha.
"like that lose to local chicken already la!" hahaha
and the BIG GIGANTIC DRUMSTICK-LOOKALIKE PRAWN. UMM. delicious.

ok it was hell cleaning up after the bbq. xueli and i were frantically cleaning and washing plates, bowls, cups, pitchers, etc. basically all the stuff in the kitchen. MADNESS. and it was sheer willpower to stay awake i tell you. after like 2 hours of sleep the day before. haha. well at least we had nice food earlier on. and i AM good at cleaning up what. (thanks to training back in CSS during home econs, haha) yeah and we finally went to sleep around 1am.

woken up by my hp alarm at 6 the next morning but went back to sleep. woken up again by the noise the guys made with all the utensils. drank orange punch, got xueli to wake up, helped the guys move the beds back, packed up, brought some snacks home, said bye to the boys who managed to get taxis back to school (i hope the test went ok..) and took the long bus ride back to tampines mrt (half an hour!! SLEPT LA) followed by mrt to bugis to take 960 (SLEPT EVEN MORE)

skipped the HAT treat voluntarily!!

so now i'm energised and blogging about the chalet. yupp.

i think the chalet made me know a lot of people better.
like how haojun is actually a photo whore at heart.
like how chunhong can set up fires so well and COOK TOO.
like how wenyun can be so .. like, selfless. pushing himself to bbq even though he had leg injuries and so on and was so tired.
like how the rest of the guys (hongming, chunhong, david) are so selfless as to stay up to bbq even though they had such an important test the next day...
like how hongming likes mahjong and is so scared of lizards too!!
like how david is so gross (i mean in a good way) and can punch lizards using the back of his hand!! hahaha
like how rongyao makes such a good water boy. :))
like how xueli needs sleep badly!! lol
like how well candy can marinate stuff and erm attempt to cook. (funny how hongming can tell which food was made by candy and which were made by chunhong..lol)
and some stuffs that shouldn't be said here. well if you ask i'll tell you. haha

yupp the chalet was definitely better than expected. thanks everyone for organising it and making it such a good experience!! :))


on hindsight, the class chalet made me discover that there are some really disgusting and selfish people in the class. rather, a person. who didn't bother to help at all. and slept the EARLIEST. without cleaning up. i think that person went to sleep at like 11. THANKS A LOT. but i do hope you know you'll never EVER get a scholarship with that kind of attitude. we'll see about that.
