a new blogskin!
haha it's about time i got rid of the old and depressing one.
in time for xmas and the new year too!
shall blog about taiwan trip next time. :)
/edit
i'm suddenly reminded about ms champagne and gp lessons and the "hallmark effect"
if you end messages with smileys or say really cliched things like "have a nice day" when you don't mean it,
you've been hallmarked! :)

somehow i feel obliged to apologise for not updating as often as i should.
well anyway, much has happened since the last post and the dreaded thing is finally over.
but i guess when you anticipate something so much, when it really happens it's just like "ok lor. over already.", and that's kind of disappointing. nevertheless it's really truly the past tense and that's all that matters isn't it.
ok so here's what happened so far in chronological order..
there was graduation day!

the girls with the scholars. hahaha ok i hoped to absorb some mugging aura from them.

part of the class

with our favourite chem teacher! (it's true cos she's our only chem teacher)

NICE HOR I EDITED THIS MYSELF HOHOHO
yeah and then there was like seemingly never-ending exams. it sucks when people around you have like 1 more paper left and you have 4. and try doing 15 hours of math, 9 of which are sort of consecutively. (fri mon tues)
celebrated the end with janice, walking around town for like 4 or 5 hours. i broke a record! spent only ten bucks in the 4 or 5 hours. and it was all on food.
wed i think i stayed home, but i cant really remember.
thurs and fri had 2/4 chalet and i didn't sleep again! i think all the chalets i've been to this year has provided me with the strength to stay awake the whole night. mahjong and bridge helps a lot though. i declare them my favourite games. but i never quite have the luck to win a mahjong game. OH and quite a few people picked up bridge and mahjong that night. it was like agambling den of sorts. luckily there were exactly 8 people. adam kwa came and did some fortune telling and some story telling. sinkuan and i were in our own world however. talking about random things.
oh the highlight of the chalet HAS to be going to changi airport and back in about 18 minutes. we were supposed to send my mum off BUT the kiasu her had to go in early (or smth) so we couldn't find her at the boarding gate. and before that when we were coming out of the mrt station at changi i asked the control station guy what time the last train was leaving and he said 11.18!!! it was like 11 at that time please!
WAH MAD RUSH LAH. so we took skytrain to T1 and went about looking for mum. failed so we quickly ran back to take the skytrain and when the skytrain finally reached T2 we RAN ALL THE WAY to the mrt and rushed into the mrt. thank god for the person in front of us who was also running if not it'd have been so embarrassing. but that was more exercise than i have done in a long long loooong time so it's not that bad after all.
went facial on friday afternoon. slept like a log. paiseh to sk. haha
watched wei xiao pasta on youtube. it's quite good. but i think wang zi bian qing wa is better. BUT THEY TOOK WZBQW OFF. damn
fast forward to monday.
went bugis with jaya and sherin. bought a pair of earrings which i'm confused about which way to wear cos if i wear it one way (like it should be, i guess) it's damn heavy. if the other way it's weird, as in i never see people wear that way before.
went town to meet zhiru and haowen (who was very late!!) to get a super belated present for HSH. met xiaoting and went for jts together
the jts was sweet! i think they really spent a lot of time planning for everything, from the blindfolding part to the video to the presents and everything. NOREEN YOU KEEP MAKING ME HIT THE STEPS THANKS HUH. but anyway it was the best (the only) jts i've been to and i guess i'm just really thankful for having such great juniors. i can really feel that you guys are a united bunch and yeahh i have faith that the NE cup is going to stay with us. there's still like half of your council term to go though so try to make the best of the remaining time and good luck to everyone.
i still don't understand why there's a need to keep the location secretive. hmm.
THIS BASKET STEP ON MY TOES WHEN I WAS ON THE BUS HOME. MY TOENAIL BROKE INTO HALF LEH. needless to say the top half DROPPED OFF. i'm reminded of the horrors of the SAJC haunted house. basket. and he didnt even know. was like nonchalently walking towards the exit doors until i gave this SUPER ANNOYED CUM PAINED expression. then he look down and was like. oh. sorry. basket.
got a happy surprise from the government when i was home!! hahaha THANK YOU!!!
on hindsight i guess the past two years have been a troubling time for me and yeah most people that i know. the need to cope with schoolwork, ccas, friendships and stuff. and it's really sad that there is no way to balance all these things perfectly. as in some aspects will inevitably get forgotten or neglected. some of course can be made up for but then again there are some areas in which the damage is irreversible. again i'm really thankful for having this bunch of friends who stood by me in the worst times (i presume you know who you are even though some of us are not as close) and to those whom i've tried but failed to depend on, i can only imagine the rest of the years ahead. in fact i'm so disappointed with YOU. the way you've forsaken me for the sake of your new friends or your committments. when i needed help so badly in school you just weren't there. you left me alone to fend for myself. there was this particular incident which i'm sure you've forgotten but to me it meant so much. is that what we're made of? i expected much more you know. and really i feel like blasting off at you but i'm just trying damn hard to bite it down.
ok this is turning into a long sad post. time to stop. need to meet the taiwan people! :))

remember the last time i talked about trends and such? (scroll down below..)
well well! my predictions for all subjects are SPOT ON. hahaha
almost 3 months ago i said this about math:
"of course, if indeed my results follow this trend, then i'd get a 66 for prelims and peak at the right time- the a levels!"
ok so i didnt get 66. but i did improve A LOT. feels good to get A la!
lol. wanted to say "feels good to get A again" but i realised, don't even have first time, where got "again"
and remember my physics was so incredibly lousy?
how i got lower and lower for physics MCQ?
hahaha i FINALLY started passing my physics MCQ again
and i said this:
"the good news is, there is no grade worse than F9. so unless i happen to get lower marks with the same F9 grade the next time round, it can only mean one thing:I AM GOING TO IMPROVE. HAHAHA."
and improve i did! 54.4! *beams*
but on a side note i think i'm possibly the most-sway person on earth. i always get stuck with bad approximations.
like the other time, i got 34.4 and it was rounded DOWN to 34 and i got F9?
i think my mark will be rounded down too! and i'll be stuck with a damn not-worth-it D. yucks
about FM and chem:
"fm, by the way, has been a B-A-O-D. which is essentially some positive cubic curve. which also means i'm going to keep improving!
chem, on the other hand, is a negative cubic curve, which can only bring bad news. NEGATIVE. the word says it all."
TING TING TING. correct!
fm- up to a B. managed to scrape a 60 despite a very lousy mechanics section. haha
chem-down to E la. if you think about the amount of studying i did for chem vs the rest of the subjects, IT'S NOT WORTH IT. totally!
ARGHHH dontyouhatefoodchemdontyouhatefoodchemdontyouhatefoodchem
lol and i got single digit for org chem in paper 3. hmm
ok so results aside, school's been a DEAR.
come on! there are more rest days than go-to-school days!
hahaha i like this timetable. too bad there's just 6 more days of school. :(
double physics and chem on monday! BLEAHHH.
